In 2001 Paul and Georgiana Keane contacted us about developing a website for the holiday cottages that they were about to open on their island estate. The website was to reflect their vision of high end accommodation utilising all the amenities on offer on their island estate (carefully landscaped woodlands and gardens, indoor swimming pool complex, farm produce, etc.) along with all the great activities on offer in West Cork Ireland.
The site also ranks on the first page for many searches for this type of accommodation in Ireland — the most successful in bringing enquiries and bookings being “self catering ireland”, with the site appearing on the first page of searches for this phrase on Google for the past few years. On a regular basis we review the results of the site and make the required changes to ensure that the site maintains this level of results.
Since the site was launched we performed three redesigns of the site to reflect the changes in the accommodation offered. The current redevelopment uses WordPress as a Content Management System for the website so that the Keanes can make updates to the site themselves and add informative articles on a regular basis. It also allows for full integration with Inish Beg’s social media channels that we have worked with them to set up.
We have developed a successful Email Marketing Campaign for Inish Beg, which has effectively increased bookings out of season.
